INTRODUCTION

IBIMI – Institute for Building Information Modelling Italy is committed to safeguarde the privacy of data subjects in compliance with Italian and EU laws regarding the protection of personal data (Legislative Decree 196/2003 and “European Regulation 2016/679 concerning the protection of individuals regarding the Processing of Personal Data, as well as the free movement of such data”, hereinafter “GDPR”). PURPOSES OF DATA PROCESSING AND LEGAL BASIS

The newsletter of Resilient System for the Recognition of Energy Skills is sent by email to those who explicitly request it, by filling out the registration form on the site https://www.ibimi.it/res2/en/homepage/. To subscribe, it is necessary to consent to the processing of personal data by ticking the box at the end of the form. Providing data is optional. Refusing to provide the data means you cannot receive the newsletter service. The data collected uses services outside the European Union (MailChimp).

 

DATA PROCESSING METHODS

Personal data collected during browsing will be processed in compliance with the aforementioned legislation and the confidentiality obligations to which the Controller and/or Processors are bound. Specific security measures are observed to prevent data loss, illicit or incorrect use, and unauthorized access. Data will be processed both electronically and on paper, as well as on any other suitable medium, in compliance with adequate security measures as per Article 5(1)(f) of the GDPR. Our newsletter and the Controller’s Services are not intended for individuals under 18 years of age, and the Controller does not intentionally collect personal information about minors. If information on minors is inadvertently recorded, the Controller will promptly delete it upon user request.

At any time, you can exercise your rights by sending:

DATA RECIPIENTS

Within the limits relevant to the stated processing purposes, the data of the interested parties may be communicated to partners, consulting firms, private companies, appointed as Processors by the Data Controller or due to legal obligations or to fulfill specific requests. The list of Processors and those in charge of processing is accurately identified in the internal Privacy Document.

 

TRANSFER TO THIRD COUNTRIES

The data of the interested parties will not be transmitted to international organizations.

 

TYPES OF DATA PROCESSED

Data voluntarily provided by the user: the optional, explicit, and voluntary sending of personal data required when subscribing to the newsletter implies the subsequent acquisition of the sender’s address, necessary to respond to requests, as well as any other personal data sent. No “special data” is processed.

 

RIGHTS OF THE INTERESTED PARTIES

Subjects to whom personal data refers have at any time the right to obtain confirmation of the existence or otherwise of the same data and to know its content and origin, verify its accuracy, or request its integration, update, or rectification. Based on the provisions of the GDPR, by simply communicating with the Controller, the interested party has the right to request deletion, transformation into anonymous form, or blocking of data processed in violation of the law, as well as to object, for legitimate reasons, to their processing. The interested party can also lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority. Requests should be addressed to segreteria@ibimi.it

 

RETENTION PERIOD

Based on Article 5 of the GDPR, the data of the interested party collected will be stored for a period not exceeding the achievement of the purposes for which they are processed and according to the deadlines set by law.
